The origins of the bagpipes go back two thousand years, their ancient sound resonates deep within our souls. Sometimes the unique music is sorrowful but sometimes joyful. The sound of the pipes has been heard in times of war, but most often in times of peace and celebration.
This year, two of the world’s best, come together at Pipes of Peace. These world-class bands that have been playing for years, even decades. Current world champions St Laurence O’ Toole Pipe Band from Dublin and 6 times world champions from Canada will take to the stage along with Celtic Spirit and Lomond & Clyde Pipe Band from Glasgow as well as bagpipe legend Robert Worrall. An event of this scale has never occurred.
This concert will entertain and enlighten audiences from all walks of life and open their hearts to experience and appreciate this often misunderstood stirring form of music. The concert consists of pipers and drummers from Scotland, Ireland, Canada .

They have frequently returned to London and have since spread further afield including Cambridge and Darlington as well as Ireland, Germany, New York and Canada etc. proving that this brand of Scottish music has a far wider appeal than just in Scotland…
