Piping Live!

Following the maxim that ‘the best way of learning is doing’, this film follows piping legend Barry Donaldson as he forms the College of Piping Training and Development Pipe Band to enter the 2009 World Pipe Band Championships. This amusing documentary follows beginner pipers and drummers from throughout Europe through 2 days of mayhem and mutiny as they battle the elements and themselves in a quest to make it to the trigger line.

This will be followed by a Q & A session with the director and some of the participants.
