The Oran Mor Pipe Band, based in Albany, New York, is internationally competitive at the Grade I level.
The band’s annual schedule takes its members who hail from all corners of the northeastern United States to contests and performances throughout the Northeast and Canada.

Since its formation in 1992, the band has earned a reputation for musical innovation and steady improvement. Oran Mor is the current Eastern United States Pipe Band Association Grade II Champion Supreme, a title it has held eight times since it achieved Grade II designation prior to the 1997 season.

Equally as dynamic in concert, the band has performed for dignitaries of the Royal Bank of Scotland at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Club; in concert with Seven Nations at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall; and at special events including the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament.
