Cameron Drummond
Events
Cameron started playing pipes aged 8 with the Craigmount High School Pipe Band. Since then he has played with the Lothian and Borders Police Pipe Band, Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia and most recently with the Band Club from Sydney Australia.
As well as playing in bands he has won the light music at the Duncan Johnston memorial contest, 1st place in the Piobaireachd and Jig at Montrose and the Cowal B grade Piobraireachd.
Cameron has received tuition from Donald T McBride and Colin MacLellan and is now taught by Gavin Stodart at the RSAMD where he is studying a degree in Scottish traditional music. Cameron is also a member of the piping band “TNT, The New Tradition”.
