Bagad Cap Caval
Bagad Cap Caval was created in 1984 by Denis Daniel in Plomeur (south west of Brittany) and started competing that year. After many titles in Grade 4 , 3 & 2, Cap Caval was promoted to Grade 1 in 1996 and has been very successful in the top Breton grade since, finishing second overall in 2004 & 2007 and winning two titles in 2008 & 2009. Cap Caval is also the most successful Breton pipe band ever, both in Brittany and Scotland (Grade1 since 2009), taking part in the World Pipe Band Championships since 1996, finishing 3rd in Grade 2 in 2004, 6th in 2006 winning best bass section and 2nd prize for drumming.
Bagad Cap Caval has released 3 CDs (“Bagad Cap Caval” in 1996, “Brezhoneg Raok” in 2002, “Hepken Live” in 2004) and a Live DVD of their show called “Ijin” (2006).
